The ideal candidate will have strong presentation skills which will enable them to clearly present solutions to clients. You should be comfortable conducting research and analysis to establish a good understanding of the business at hand. You should have an interest in examining and streamlining processes to make them more efficient. Japanese speaking is a must.
Responsibilities:
• Gathering, analyzing, and validating user business processes and requirements, ensuring accurate documentation into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements between modules and interfaces with other systems.
• Performing requirement traceability and managing scope creep, including identification of out-of-scope requirements and escalation of issues.
• Reviewing and evaluating impact analyses, functional and technical designs, and specifications from both business and technical perspectives.
• Reporting project status and implementing risk/issue mitigation strategies.
• Managing and resolving issues arising from business requirements or systems solutions.
Requirements:
• Min. 3 years of project management experience in banking industry.
• At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure/ network projects, including hands-on implementation.
• Proficiency in documentation using PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including AS-IS clarification/ visualization, root cause analysis, and preparation of decision-making documents.
• Able to speak in English and Japanese (in order to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders and clients).
• Experience with migration from Notes/ Domino to Microsoft 365 is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
• Client-facing experience and prior working experience in a consulting firm.
This is a 6-month rolling contract role.
