We are seeking a dedicated Senior Test Engineer to join our team and take charge of the end-to-end testing activities for our integrated e-payment system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems through meticulous test planning, execution, and automation. This role involves collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver a seamless and efficient e-payment experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Analysis: Develop comprehensive test plans by analysing business and system requirements.
- Test Environment Preparation: Set up and maintain the test environment, ensuring it meets all necessary specifications.
- Test Case Development: Design and develop detailed test cases to cover all aspects of the system.
- Test Execution: Execute test procedures and meticulously document results.
- Automation and Performance Tuning: Automate test solutions using scripting or programming languages and optimize system performance.
- Traceability and Gap Analysis: Create traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are met, identify gaps, and address them effectively.
- Defect Management: Log, track, and ensure the closure of defects, performing root cause analysis for production and user acceptance issues.
- Stakeholder Communication: Conduct test reviews and communicate findings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Documentation: Develop comprehensive design documents and user manuals for test automation solutions, providing clear instructions to testers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Education: Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of testing and developing test automation solutions for devices (UI-based or embedded) and back-office systems. Familiarity with the full system development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Testing Phases Knowledge: Understanding of diverse test execution phases, including Agile testing, System Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
