Responsibilities
- Identifying and Selecting Automation Test Cases
- Designing and Documenting the Automation Test Strategy
- Creating an Automation Test Plan
- Configuring Selenium Test Environment (STE)
- Implementing an Automation Framework
- Creating, Enhancing, Debugging, and Running Test Cases
- Monitoring the Defect Management Process
- Managing Changes and Executing Regression Tests
- Providing Solutions for Object Identity and Error Handling
- Interacting with Customers/Clients and Updating on Issues
Skills/Requirement
- Strong experience in designing test cases using cucumber BDD format.
- 4-8 years of experience on Web automation tools (Selenium) / (Appium, Selenium)
- Should be well versed in Automation (Selenium with Java) / (Appium with Java), Framework development or maintenance.
- Should be an expert in using Selenium – using Cucumber and POM Design Pattern.
- Experience in programming language – Java.
- Experience in Agile Methodologies and tools – JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket
- Willing to do manual testing on need basis.
- Experience in all the phases of software testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Provide technical leadership using relevant Automation experience and knowledge.
- Devise innovative approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard automation technical principles.
- Lead technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and solving problems on process control issues.
- Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C# etc.
- Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly accurate and detail oriented.
- Having knowledge of Maven, Cucumber, Jenkins, etc. will be an advantage.
Good to have:
Knowledge on API testing using Java and Rest Assured
Knowledge on the CI/CD
Knowledge in Banking domain – Retail and Corporate banking
