JOB DESCRIPTION:
a) Set up detailed repair / production planning, prepare materials, tools and equipment to ensures the production site meet the specifications.
b) Describe and explain the drawing/procedure to foreman and workers.
c) Responsible for the quality control aspects of equipment, tools, materials, in-process and finish products. Follow quality standards and develop method in production.
d) Supervise the production staff and workers to operate safely and efficiently.
e) Coordinate with ship’s agent, superintendent, sub-contractors and our workers for daily operation, to fulfill the ship’s repair job on time.
f) Prepare service work list and delivery order to ensure it is endorsed by shipyard engineer or ship owner’s superintendent as soon as possible.
g) To follow up IMO and class society regulations and rules for the life saving and fire-fighting equipment inspection, to make standard scope of work and procedure for the team. Maintain the life saving and fire-fighting inspection team running in order.
h) To promote company service and products to existing clients and new customer.
i) Making quotation to the ship owner, superintendent at Company’s authorization.
j) Logistics support for repair team at anchorage / OPL.
k) Sourcing/negotiation with various suppliers and subcontractors from Company’s vendor list for pricing/quality/service, to ensure cost competitiveness and service to meet company requirement.
l) The Employee may be assigned any other duty associated with your role or any alternative, additional or ancillary duties as the Employer or its management may deem necessary.
