Responsibilities
- Assist the HoD in reviewing of members’ work and overseeing of day-to-day operations of the Finance Department to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Reviewing of financial reports to Head Office, Local Management, and Regulatory Authorities.
- Reviewing of annual financial accounts for audit and statutory reporting.
- Overview of monthly accruals and provisions for operating expenses, as well as annual estimated income tax for year-end closing.
- Annual Estimates/Budget Reports for operating expenses.
- Review of Tax and annual returns to IRAS.
- Monitor financial operations including accounting controls, invoice processing, and salary payments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related field. CPA or CFA qualifications will be advantageous
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar role in Banking & Finance sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting and reporting standards within the banking industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
