Job Scope
- Maintain excel cash book (in shared folder) & updating of loans / borrowings in Oracle
- Maintaining working relationships with banks pertaining to all export procedures and documents
- Follow up for collection on shipments
- Update finance charge accruals in Oracle
- To provide cover for Trade Operations department regarding shipping documentation when required
- Ensure timely presentation of documents to banks and status tracking of shipping documents.
- Liaise with banks pertaining to all import procedures and payment to sellers in a timely manner.
- Any other ad-hoc matters as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of functional experience in trade finance, preferably in commodity industries
- Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent
- Knowledge of export/import documentation and Oracle system are required
