Job Description & Requirements
- Implement appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act
- Enforce all safety requirements and company safety rules and regulations
- Conduct regular site checks and take appropriate corrective actions
- Design and conduct safety training programs for employees.
- Conduct regular inspection to ensure ECM and environmental plan in place
- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine causes.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, audits, and incidents, ensure that safety documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates and reports in accordance with WSH legislation
- Work as leader of safety team including coordination with client and subcon
REQUIREMENT /QUALIFICATION
- Registered WSH Officer with MOM
- A degree in occupational health and safety, environmental health, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years relevant working experience in construction industry
- Occupational Safety Management (including fire & safety management)
- Experience in water reclamation plant will be advantageous.
