Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Coordinator to join our team at our Bugis location. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full set of shipping documentation, overseeing shipping schedules, and booking vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the full set of shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee and coordinate shipping schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Book vessels and arrange transportation for shipments, optimizing routes and schedules.
- Communicate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Track shipments and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Handle any shipping-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized records of shipping activities and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align shipping activities with company objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in shipping coordination or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP 365 Dynamics.
