Job Responsibilities
- Review production schedules, processes, and specifications
- Implement process improvements and technology upgrades
- Create control systems to cut costs and prevent issues
- Develop design and production standards with management and staff
- Prepare lists of materials and equipment, purchase orders, cost analyses, and production cost estimates
- Train staff on new processes with instructions and manuals
- Manage process documentation and prepare production reports
- Approve Purchase Requisitions
- Meet department quality objectives
- Maximize productivity by optimizing machine use and labor efficiency
- Minimize quality issues in production
- Carry out continuous improvement initiatives sustainably
- Ensure on-time delivery to customers
- Minimize manufacturing costs
- Comply with fire safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Able to interpret engineering drawing
- Knowledge of precision machining, production scheduling and production management
