Assistant QC Chemist | Up to $3.2k | Chemistry | Redhill
Location: Jalan Kilang[Bukit Merah]
Working days: 5 days [ Mon - Fri ]
Working hours: 8:30am - 6pm
Salary : SGD $2,400 - $3,200
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily routine Product testing for In-Process Products, Finished Products and raw materials and provide test results report.
- Ensure that all laboratory testing equipment and instruments, sampling instruments, are cleaned and dry and suitable for appropriate tasks.
- Ensure that all required tests are performed in accordance with its test procedures.
- Assist to check and maintain QC Laboratory, premises and equipment in best condition at all times.
- Ensure that retention samples are properly labeled and stored under specified storage conditions and period in accordance with standard procedures.
- Perform tasks according to Good Laboratory Practice
- Perform Housekeeping of laboratory
- Purchasing of laboratory chemicals and lab consumables
- Support in Packaging materials testing in absence of the other Assistant Chemist
- Perform other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Chemistry or science related.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably experienced in FMCG/Manufacturing Industry.
- Must have experience in quantitative analysis using chromatographic techniques.
- Hands-on experience in operating Gas Chromatography (GC)
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Immediate availability will be preferred.
