Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Claris FileMaker Pro Developer with 1-2 years of experience to develop, maintain, and optimize custom applications that meet the unique needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy custom FileMaker Pro applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing FileMaker Pro solutions to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
- Develop scripts, layouts, and calculations within FileMaker Pro.
- Integrate FileMaker Pro with other systems and platforms as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing support to end-users.
- Stay current with FileMaker Pro updates, best practices, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience working with Claris FileMaker Pro.
- Strong understanding of FileMaker Pro development, including scripting, calculations, and layout design.
- Experience with FileMaker Server administration is a plus.
- Knowledge of relational database concepts and design.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Formal qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience integrating FileMaker Pro with other systems via APIs.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with other database systems.
