Job Description
- Oversee the day to day running of all matters relating to the construction of this project with the assistance of M&E staffs, mainly on mechanical & electrical works.
- Liaison with external parties such as clients, client representatives and authorities, etc.
- Co-ordinate the works carried out by his/her M&E Engineer and M&E Co-ordinators.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop detailed M&E plans and specifications.
- Review safety reports on compliance and non-compliance to regulatory and organizational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and Environmental Management System (EMS) standards and practices.
- Monitor progress and performance of M&E works, identifying any deviations or issues and implementing corrective measures as required.
- Manage sub-con/in progress production planning & build.
- Monitoring M&E services variation works and costs during construction stage to ensure within budget.
Requirements
- Minimum a recognized Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Construction Engineering or other building-related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of working experience in building and construction projects.
- Working knowledge in BIM model software.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and fire protection.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to M&E installations.
- Team player and able to communicate well with the team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
