Job Description
- To be involved in the planning and execution of civil and structural works.
- Assist the Project manager and Construction Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operation of the projects.
- To prepare method of statement, construction sequencing, sketches, and other technical submissions.
- To monitor the execution of the site works and further review and develop the method and/or sequence of the works to ensure safety and efficiency.
- To collaborate with peers, and to liaise with trade contractors, clients and consultants and ensure timely delivery of quality services.
- To prepare Inspection and Test Plan, and conduct inspection and check on works performed.
- Check the drawings discrepancies and conduct field verification, and submit technical clarification to the clients and consultants.
- Ensure updated drawings including shop drawings are used by the site team in a timely manner.
- Prepare site record and submit to office in a timely manner.
- Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of reports and presentation to management, clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university or its equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Building projects and/or Geotechnical projects.
- Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures.
- Familiar with precast concrete will be an added advantage.
- Proactive, responsible and keen to work in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching skills and organising abilities.
- Able to work independently.
