Basic Purpose / General Objective:
Key role that serves as the financial analyst for Asia regional office and Asia Commercial that covers Crude and Global LNG.
Key responsibilities
- Accounting support for Crude and LNG activities, including actualize volume in Commercial system to accurately capture and report inventories, invoicing and associated A/R and A/P.
- Derivative monthly MTM accounting, and related financial statement reporting.
- Coordination and preparation of the Asia Commercial budget and outlooks.
- Work with Commercial management to provide analysis and ad hoc reporting.
- Work closely with Houston Commercial Coordinator to maintain and update SOX internal controls and process maps.
- Provide and coordinate data for external reporting such as audit, tax, government questionnaire and statutory statistic surveys.
- Provide cover for other team members as required.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and networks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial and/or accounting acumen.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective communication, influential and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase capabilities required.
- Strong SAP FI user.
Preferred Skill and Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in financial analysis in an Oil/Gas/LNG trading setting.
- Commercial applications such as RightAngle and TriplePoint.
