You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Estate department and assist the Director, Planning and Infrastructure in the strategic planning and management of estate matters so that the School’s operational needs are met. Your job responsibilities are:
- Managing the infrastructure maintenance and improvement works of the school premises, including managing budget of the estate management plan and procurement services.
- Working with contracted vendors who supply services to the school for effective school operations and security.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to implement estate maintenance plan and ensure that regulatory compliance requirements are met.
- Overseeing security and safety measures in school.
- Adhering to the school’s budgetary processes, financial and procurement policies.
- Adopting the use of technology and review of systems to increase productivity.
- Ensuring that the logistic requirements and set up of school’s functions and activities are met with minimal disruption to school operations.
- Liaising with external organisations for enquiries on usage of school facilities. Ensuring the necessary logistic support for confirmed usage of school facilities by external organisations.
Requirements
- University Degree in Architecture, Building /Real Estate Management, Engineering or related discipline. Diplomas and Experience in relevant areas will also be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics, estate management, safety and emergency planning.
- Good organising abilities, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Preferably with Fire Safety Manager certification
