The jobholder has overall responsibility for the management and performance of Unipec Singapore.
Responsibilities
As General Manager of Unipec Singapore, the jobholder will:
- Be the strategic interface to key/senior stakeholders in Sinopec Group and Unipec HQ
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for Unipec Singapore
- Lead strategic decision-making with Unipec Singapore’s Senior Management team
- Be overall accountable for meeting the P&L, supply/demand targets and other strategic business goals required of Unipec Singapore set by HQ and Sinopec Group
- Oversee the management, development and deployment of company talent
- Take responsibility for executing decisions from the Unipec Singapore Board of Directors and Senior Management team
- Be responsible to the Board of Directors - reporting on any matters as is relevant
- Any other task as assigned by the Board of Directors, or as required by the Company’s/HQ’s/Group’s constitution
The role of General Manager Unipec Singapore is very senior, hence a high level of experience is expected of suitable applicants.
Requirements
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a senior leadership role, with proven track record of driving and achieving commercial growth within trading/O&G industry
- The jobholder will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the executive presence to work with senior internal and external stakeholders. The jobholder will engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement
- The jobholder will also possess deep understanding of the economic, business environment and culture in China to succeed in this role
