Job Summary: Infra Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing infrastructure and End User Computing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires an individual with strong project management skills, a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, and extensive experience in managing End User Computing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Manage project budgets and track expenditures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business goals.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring collaboration and efficient project execution.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor progress.
- Identify, analyze, and manage project risks and issues.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage infrastructure needs to implement new and manage existing ICT systems.
- Facilitate project activities for a smooth rollout and operations of the systems.
- Oversee the change process for system deployment, operations and managing other suppliers
- Manage infrastructure development and maintenance issues with users and other suppliers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure and End User Computing projects.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (e.g., servers, networks, storage) and EUC environments (e.g., desktops, laptops, mobile devices).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Proven experience in Project Management in Multi-Vendor Environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar industry or sector.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management practices.
