We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Manager – General Ledger based in our Vistra, Singapore office. Reporting to the SG Senior Finance Manager, this 1-year contract position offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Finance function and its’ growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle day to day finance operation transactions and maintain full set of accounts
- Ensure timely reporting to Head office
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and financial accounting regulations
- Manage GL functions and monthly/year end closing
- Manage Intercompany transaction billing and settlement
- Prepare/review of manual journal vouchers
- Prepare/review bank reconciliation and to resolve any issues highlighted timely
- Manage quarterly GST submission, annual tax filings and compliance matters, liaise with the company secretary (if required), government statistics submission
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agent
- Support any other ad-hoc duties/projects as required
Key requirements:
- At least 6 years of relevant experience
- Degree in Accountancy / ACCA
- Qualified Accountant, preferably with ISCA
- Highly proficient with Excel
- Proficient with PowerPoint and other office applications
- Good local accounting knowledge and tax filing experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Able to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Self-motivated, hands-on with a high degree of commitment to meet deadlines, targets and objectives
- Inquisitive mind to challenge status quo
