Job Description:

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for education and sales? We are seeking a Centre Manager to join our language learning center and drive our operations to new heights.

United Language Centre (ULC), a leading language school and community hub for expats in Singapore, is actively seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Centre Manager to lead our Operation & Sales team. The Centre Manager will play a crucial role in guiding and supervising our Operation & Sales team, ensuring they effectively connect with expats and assist them in reaching their language learning goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily operations of the language learning center, ensuring smooth functioning and high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve both team and individual sales targets.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of language instructors and administrative staff.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that motivates employees to excel.
  • Monitor and analyze center performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and attract new students.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Prepare regular reports on center activities, financial performance, and student enrollment.
  • Conduct staff performance appraisals and provide support and guidance to enhance the staff’s professional development based on individual training needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to put in place best practices and ensure efficient processes for ULC
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake such other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful operations and sales management, preferably in the education sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
