Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full spectrum of accounting.
- Prepare management reporting.
- Handle invoicing, process payments, verify employee claims, and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Perform monthly account closing procedures.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Prepare monthly management report.
- Analyze variances between actuals against budget/forecast.
- Take charge of the annual budgeting and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties including external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial and government authorities.
- Responsible for financial and tax audits, and compliance reporting.
- Manage accounting policies and internal controls.
Qualification:
- Accounting/Finance degree / CPA / ACCA or its equivalents.
- At least 3 years of experience in a commercial accounting role
Key competencies and personal attributes (knowledge and soft skill requirements):
- Good working knowledge of IFRS and J GAAP.
- Proficiency in Accpac/Sage 300, Navision, Tagetik and Stravis.
- Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
