JOB SUMMARY
Responsible to manage and generates CNC program for production used,manually or using CAM software. He is also in charge on all machine tooling & inserts. This requires working closely with production supervisor to ensure smooth production flows and dealing with insert & tooling vendors for tooling & insert procuring, cost reduction and improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
· Generate, manage and continuously improve CNC programs to achieve higher production efficiency.
· Monitor, source and procure all tooling and insertsrequired for production used.
· Initiate and lead in tooling improvement and cost reduction.
· Support Manufacturing Engineering and machinist in manufacturing all first article products.
· Work closely with Procurement Engineer to support sales side on job costing.
· Perform other assignments and duties as required.
· Understand and aware of the impact of each activity to the company and its environment and must minimize the detrimental results as required.
· Follow safe work practices and procedures.
· Ensure HS&E policies and procedures are followed at all times.
· Participate / attend all functions, activities and meeting organized by the company.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Ensure all CNC program are correct and ready when required.
· Ensure all tooling and inserts are sufficient for production used along with traceability on every purchasing and usage.
· Ensure all job costing are accurate to prevent loses.
