Job Description
Purchase Order Creation
- Creation of purchase order for operations related components
Inventory management
- System reconciliation between SAP & 3rd Party Logistics WMS
- Management of disposal and write off
- Tracking of manual order form
Invoice validation
- Verifying of vendors invoices
- Verifying of 3rd Party providers – including permits, warehouse & trucking
- Verifying of external vendors such as disposal
Operations
- Coordination of appliances re-work process, both internal and 3rd Party Logistics
- Management of import / export to Malaysia warehouse
- Management of NI list
- Resolving all operations related issues with various stakeholders (Sales, 3rd Party Logistics, Ecommerce, Marketing etc)
Supply Planning & Optimization
- Create, manage, and optimize supply plans to guarantee product availability, minimizing both excess stock and obsolete inventory
- Collaborate with factories/suppliers, logistics, production, and other departments to synchronize the supply chain seamlessly
Distribution Strategy
- Design and refine distribution routes for timely and cost-effective deliveries
- Coordinate with transportation and warehousing teams to maximize distribution efficiency
Supplier Collaboration
- Strengthen and maintain relationships with key suppliers, emphasizing continuous improvement initiatives
Performance Metrics & Reporting
- Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators, evaluating supply planning efficiency and making necessary adjustments
- Use analytics to provide insights to senior management, aiding strategic decisions
Continuous Improvement
- Lead projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency, cost reduction, and service level improvements
Team Development
- Mentor, guide, and develop a team of supply planners, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders concerning supply and distribution matters
- Regularly communicate supply and distribution performance, risks, and mitigation strategies
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Supply Chain/Engineering
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in supply chain planning or related role ideally in a sales/manufacturing organization. Appliances industry is a big plus
- Excellent supply planning and financial planning skills are required which could be leveraged for planning system design
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the Office (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & MS Projects)
- Experience in utilizing (SAP ECC, SAP APO/SAP IBP, SAP BI, Power BI) and should be an Excel advance user
