Job Responsibilities

  • To report to Power & Renewable Dept Manager, support to identify leads, evaluate opportunities, negotiate and close strategic partnership agreements that span renewable energy systems, solutions and services
  • To be accountable and responsible to achieve Sales Order Intake with desired Gross Margins for Power and Renewables
  • To be part of the subject matter expert in the design or/and review of necessary electrical & automation deliverables required for holistic solutions of renewable generation, grid control and microgrid applications
  • To study, design, review Single Line Diagrams and Electrical Schematic Drawings (LV, MV), Power System Study, Review Load flow analysis, Grid Islanding Studies and review Electrical Equipment Installations
  • To support in conducting Plant Electrical Integrity and Electrical Safety field audits to ensure sustained safety and reliability of the electrical Solution and installation. Interface and manage vendors and/or consultants in the acquisition of hardware or technical support
  • To work closely and have complimentary role with Advanced Solution Sales team to demonstrate and grow integrated Solutions business
  • To focus on cultivating long term relationships with local major accounts
  • To apply your background in sustainability, investment in renewable projects and energy innovation projects & infrastructure, with good understanding of related opportunities in Singapore
  • To coordinate with regional teams to develop/review preliminary design, budgetary/firm control & electrical scope and procurement packages for the solutions
  • To understand which customers to be targeted for executive solutions sales
  • To understand and leverage on customer’s concerns and pains and simultaneously assess the key risks and required mitigations
  • To support to drives alliances & partners to complete customer’s solutions requirement
  • To drive company innovation program for innovative solutions development with win-win situation for Yokogawa & customer
  • To formulate Performance contract framework with legal

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Power Engineering or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience with a good understanding of new energy and energy transition markets, renewable including solar, wind, battery, W2E, green hydrogen. Working experience on microgrid/smart grid application projects are advantageous
  • Sound hands-on electrical knowledge to design and propose optimized solution
  • Electrical certification or professional accreditation related to renewables or energy would be advantageous
  • Understanding of Yokogawa solutions portfolio would be added advantage
  • Familiarity and networking with key vendors, manufacturers and industry players
  • Familiar with Incoterms, able to negotiate commercial terms including back-to-back arrangement
  • Familiar with Electrical Engineering tools (AUTOCAD, eTAP, DIALux, PVSyst etc.)
