Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team at TAK Products and Services. Reporting directly to the Chief Admin Officer (CAO), the HR Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the HR function for the company in Singapore and other regional offices. The successful candidate will oversee a team of HR & Admin Executives and be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the company's objectives and foster a positive work environment.


Job Description:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership: Partner closely with management in defining organizational culture, reward and retention policies, and lead HR & Admin department in alignment with the company’s mission and values.
  2. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labour laws and regulations. Ensure HR practices are fair, consistent, and aligned with company values.
  3. Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead the recruitment process for all levels of the organization, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process. Develop talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  4. Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, benefits administration, and payroll processing. Ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
  5. Training and Development: Identify training and development needs, and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
  6. Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
  7. HR Administration: Oversee HR administrative tasks, including record-keeping, HRIS management, and documentation. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee data.
  8. Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee morale. Organize events, activities, and recognition programs to celebrate achievements and milestones.
  9. Conflict Resolution: Manage employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  10. Regional Coordination: Work closely with local HR in regional offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Hong Kong to ensure alignment of HR strategies and practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Min. Diploma/ Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore labour laws and regulations. Experience managing HR functions in other regional offices is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate HR initiatives into business results.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications. Experience with WHYZE HR software is preferred.
