Working Hours:
- 5.5 Day Work Week
- Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm
- Saturday: 8am – 12pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise drivers and delivery assistants.
- Report any safety violations or disciplinary issues to the Operation Manager.
- Adhere to and promote safety requirements at all times.
- Plan, schedule, organize, and assign jobs daily.
- Maintain constant communication with drivers to ensure job completion.
- Coordinate with customers to resolve any job-related issues.
- Report any cargo damage and traffic accidents to the Operation Manager.
- Assist in the investigation of incidents/accidents and prepare Incident Reports/CAPA for the Operation Manager/Senior Manager.
- Request time extensions for export collections from customers when necessary.
- Effectively plan and utilize appropriate vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure company assets and equipment are properly maintained.
- Schedule vehicles for servicing and inspection.
- Escalate and report any cargo discrepancies to immediate superiors.
- Monitor all deliveries and collections closely.
- Handle import/export operations matters related to the department.
- Attend to customer phone calls after office hours.
- Follow up on driver feedback and seek advice from the Operation Manager when needed.
- Assist in monitoring the maintenance schedule of the department’s vehicles and arrange accordingly.
- Reply to daily customer operational queries and requests.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Operation Manager and Senior Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum secondary school education.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar field.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment.
- PC literate.
- Willingness to work at Alps Ave (Changi area).
