Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the purchasing team with various assignments, research potential vendors, and track orders to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. This role is critical in maintaining efficient supply chain operations and fulfilling customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the purchasing team with ad-hoc assignments.
- Research and identify potential vendors.
- Track and manage orders to ensure timely delivery.
Primary Duties:
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to understand and meet requirements.
- Negotiate prices with vendors to secure the best deals.
- Ensure the fulfillment of quantity and quality requirements for customer queries.
- Issue Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, and Sales Invoices.
- Prepare Material Receiving Records (MRRs) for goods received.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing of all shipment-related documents.
- Verify and process documents for submission to the finance team (Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable) for payment processing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a purchasing role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong learning attitude and willingness to adapt to new challenges.
