Business Development Manager

Zayda Reap-ple Pte. Ltd.

This position reports to the Founder and works directly with the Founder. As Zayda Reap-Ple Pte Ltd is committed to grow and provide high quality Learning and Development solutions to support the local and regional markets, ranging from soft skills trainings, customized coaching programs to HR services.


The personnel must be able to:
1. Define Research Objectives:
• Clearly define the objectives of the market research, such as identifying current skills gaps, understanding industry trends, or assessing demand for specific skills.
• Determine the scope of the research, including which industries or sectors to focus on and the geographic regions of interest.
Gather Data:
• Collect relevant data from primary and secondary sources. Primary sources may include surveys, interviews, or focus groups with industry professionals, employers, and workers. Secondary sources may include industry reports, government publications, academic studies, and online databases.
• Utilize a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather comprehensive data on skills requirements, shortages, and emerging trends.
• Set a time bound for the research completion (base on project deliverables)


2. Define Target Audience:
• Clearly define the characteristics of the ideal client or target audience for the L&D services.
• Consider factors such as industry, company size, geographic location, job roles, and organizational goals
• Company size of targeted prospect
• Come up with a list of prospective clients for at least monthly cold calling


3. Track and update on status with clients and potential clients
• Use a CRM system to assist in following up with clients
• Networking with relevant associations and attend networking events


4. 5. Conduct meetings with clients

• Develop proposal to clients

• Write a proposal including, value preposition, outcome, framework, resources needed, timeline, targeted training groups, success criteria and pricing with possible next step: actions plan, follow up coaching and mentorship


5. Form Strategic partnership with relevant organizations in L&D sectors and industry

• Attend Engagement and Outreach:
• Initiate contact with potential partners through networking events, industry conferences, or mutual connections.
• Schedule meetings or calls to discuss potential partnership opportunities and explore areas of mutual interest.
• Conduct a thorough needs assessment to understand the specific goals, challenges, and priorities of potential partner organizations.
• Identify areas where your organization's strengths, resources, or offerings can complement those of the prospective partner


6. Form Strategic partnership with relevant organizations in L&D sectors and industry

• Schedule meetings or calls to discuss potential partnership opportunities and explore areas of mutual interest.

7. Facilitate events and roadshows showing company services

• Project Manage the event on a timely basis and have all items, suppliers, technology, invitees and show events all completed 2 days before start of event
• Be in the know of various events company and exhibitions calendars


8. Management of client accounts

• Increase sustainable business opportunities year on year with repeat L&D services and products creations
• Increase company branding and build deep value proposition in the area of L&D consultancy


9. Meeting sales target

• Increase sales and new clients for the organization
• Increase market awareness of the company in the area of L&D consultancy
• Build new products with the L&D team to support the market demands for L& D contents


10. Collect data analysis

• Establish quality data standard and metrics to measure accuracy and completeness of data.
• Present to various stakeholders on market analysis and strategy from market research
