Seeking for a Finance Operations Assistant Manager
Contract: 12 Months Contract, Up to $7K
Location: Pasir Panjang
You will be part of the Finance Operation under the Finance Business Partner (“FBP”) team to support the organizational vision by partnering closely with this respective team to ensure Financial Sustainability and Operational Excellence through a Good Governance process. The FBP team creates a real and active partnership with business units and the management, be a trusted adviser and add value to assist business units in decision making.

What you will be working on:
Month-end closing and reporting:
- Update monthly financial tracker & reporting deck for various divisions/programmes reporting
- Perform manpower allocation/adjustment for products and programme on quarterly/half yearly basis
- Perform allocation of central costs to products/programme on monthly/quarterly basis
- Perform and prepare templates for monthly/quarterly revenue /expense accruals as well as any ad-hoc reclassification journal with supporting documents and approvals to ensure proper accounting
- To ensure month/year-end close activities are performed timely, ensure completeness and accuracy
- Timely follow up on all outstanding issues
Budgeting Ops:
- Work with Project teams to identify purchase order lines for retagging/closure and fixed assets for transfer/re-tag
- Request & seek approval for budget virement between/across projects and cost centres where necessary
Grants and Governance:
- Prepare templates with supporting documents to facilitate recovery of grants/expenses
- Ensure compliance of company policies, accounting standards, IMs and Government polices
Process Improvement:
- Participate in continuous system enhancements and process improvement initiatives; perform UAT if necessary to ensure the logic accuracy as per requirements
Other Responsibilities:
- Undertake ad hoc projects and analysis work or any other duties assigned
