Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute and maintain test automation assets for our Android, iOS applications.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement and enhancement of Automation Frameworks.
- Mentor the team in case of any technical blockers
- Bring in innovation and latest tools in automation space
- Develop tools and utilities and contribute towards toil reduction
- Advocate the quality culture in cross-functional teams and make sure that the best practices are followed
- Maintain tools and Infra/Servers
- Maintain repositories used within QA teams
Requirements
- Experience in leading complex large-scale testing projects.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Mobile Automation testing.
- 8+ years of relevant QA technical experience.
- Expertise in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including designing and manipulating test data.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, test tools, and processes.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Banking experience is preferred.
- Experience in API testing and automation frameworks.
- Solid coding background in Java, Objective-C, JavaScript or similar.
- Experience across Jbehave, Cucumber, Appium, Selenium , XCode UI Automation, Espresso, (mobile testing tools and frameworks).
- Experience with basic UNIX commands and working knowledge on LINUX flavor.
- You should have working knowledge on Bit Bucket etc. (Anything apart from BitBucket are good to have).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Technical Skill Sets
- Selenium & Appium - GoodUnderstanding of driver communications and handling of device / OS specific issues. Knowledgeable to enhance the core libraries to support automation requirements which includes proxy connections, device connections, events logging etc
- Jenkins – Able to handle centralized configurations for 500+ test automation jobs including parameterized scheduled jobs.
- Infra – Able to Manage Redhat Enterprise Linux OS, Maria DB servers which includes app inventory management, server schedules, Disk modifications, NVA scans and app code management.
- Maven – Maven profiling, external library management, dependency management
- Database - Create, import, export, load operations on DB tables. Create/manage events, triggers on multiple database tables. Create stored procedures for data purge activities.
- JIRA/BDD/Zephyr – Understanding on jBehave core API, Tabular parameters, and step patterns. Able to customize core JBehave libraries on need basis.
- JAVA – Experience on library management using design principles, able to integrate multiple systems using APIs, able to provide reusable solutions as a package/bundle.
- GIT – Create/manage repositories of multiple teams. Able to scan and identify potential issues from multiple code repositories.
- Strong coding knowledge in Java , Objective-C, JavaScript or similar.
- Good experience in developing complex SQL queries.
- Knowledge of basic UNIX Commands and ability to work with Linux flavor.

- Strong working knowledge of SDLC and STLC practices and procedures.
