EduGrove is looking for experienced, passionate and dedicated individual to lead our teaching team. We are especially looking for someone who have a strong background in Mathematics education, excellent leadership skills and a passion for nurturing young minds.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Vice-principals to identify training needs and develop learning objectives aligned with company’s methodology.
- Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations and manuals.
- Deliver interactive training sessions to educate teachers on curriculum content, teaching methodologies, and classroom management techniques.
- Provide guidance and feedback to enhance the teaching skills and effectiveness of the teachers.
- Respond to feedback and queries from all staff regarding teaching
- Develop and implement assessments and evaluation tools to measure the impact of training initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- To conduct regular review sessions with staff team to appraise and feedback on work performance
- To monitor and ensure lessons are delivered according to expected standards and desired outcomes through (regular class observation, regular training)
- To stay current with curricular trends and changes in Singapore and to ensure changes in MOE guidelines are integrated promptly into the curriculum
- To plan, research and work closely with the curriculum team to create materials that are in alignment with MOE guidelines
- Recruit, train and mentor new employees of your department
- Work closely with the Operations Manager on scheduling of classes
- Take up relief teaching duties when need arises and/or when there are no available manpower to cover.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education / Mathematics Education or other related degrees from NUS, NTU, NIE or other reputable university.
- Candidates must have at least 3 years experience in a training or professional development role, preferably in an educational or enrichment centre setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates must have creative and innovative approach to training delivery, with the ability to design engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to plan training schedules.
- Must have the knowledge and updated on the current MOE syllabus and requirements.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, eg. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Must be able to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays. (5-day work week)
