Responsibilities:
- Perform advisory role to clients' C-suites and tech leaders in developing and maintaining the organization's IT architecture to ensure it aligns with the overall business strategy
- Acquire new business with customers and increase the size of current accounts to at least SGD5 million annually
- Create and manage technology roadmaps that outlines the evolution of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure
- Collaborating with various stakeholders including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to understand requirements and ensure that the IT architecture supports the organization's objectives
- Develop solution designs and architecture at a high level to fulfill the requirements, considering scalability, performance, security, and integration with current systems, to align with the enterprise architecture
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, particularly in relation to IT architecture and technology implementation
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to be used in the solution based on the requirements and constraints
- Supervise a team of over 20 tech professionals to execute technology strategy, modern software development, and deployment initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
- 15+ years of relevant working experinece in IT field
- Strong knowledge and experience in Cloud and legacy platform, VMs, AWS, Azure, and full stack application development & deployment across technology areas such as microservice, design patterns, Containerization – K8S, Docker, Integration – Kafka, AMQP, API, Mobile Application, CI/CD, SRE, Data & analytics & AI/ML, IoT, Security, IaC, and current trends
- Proficient in design concepts and architectural patterns to build robust and scalable systems
- Business architecture experience across different industry segments such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, Singapore government, logistic, transportation, tech, telco
- Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as the capacity to collaborate
- Able to hands-on deep dive into implementations, as well as provide people leadership and management
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Solid knowledge of SDLC and agile techniques
- Experience in IT management advisory and consulting
- Singapore GCC & SHIP-HATS2.0 experience
