About the Role:
Due to continued growth, Anergy has an exciting opportunity for a Process Design Engineer in Singapore. You will be joining a diverse team of individuals who are passionate about what they do, a team with a proven track record in guiding our clients and leading delivery of our unique HTP (High Temperature Pyrolysis) technology.
As a Process Design Engineer, you will develop conceptual process design for waste transformation projects and provide process related technical support for pre-sales activities. Projects will vary in complexity and size and range across the full cycle from concept to commissioning or standalone equipment design.
The role will require addressing technical problems, which may require ingenuity and creativity. Close collaboration with the engineering design and procurement team members and the project managers are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed calculations related to plant process design for waste transformation (waste to useful products) projects.
- Preparation of conceptual process engineering design deliverables for tenders and studies, for example, Process Design Basis document, Process Description, Process Flow Diagrams(PFDs), etc.
- To work closely with the Sales & Application team to ensure quality proposals are developed and delivered on time.
- Liaise with potential clients and provide technical support for pre-sales activities.
- Assist in project implementation, including process-related documentation and technical clarification with clients.
- To communicate and discuss the process design to the detailed design team once the project is awarded.
- Support ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.
Profile we are looking for:
The position would suit a highly motivated Chemical or Process Engineer with a high degree of initiative and strong willingness to learn. The role will require a lateral thinker who enjoys the technical challenge and innovative agenda the business pursues.
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in process design or technical experience in Thermal or Chemical or Oil & Gas plants is preferable.
- Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work as a team.
- Able to work effectively in a small, developing and dynamic organization.
- Proficiency in Python programming is preferable.
- Proficiency in AutoCad Plant 3D is an advantage.
