Responsibilities:
• Developing our company clients, and business development.
• Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Accountable for store's controllable profit and advises the General Manager on a weekly basis on progress to plan and implements detailed actions to improve store profitability.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Responsible for accurate and efficient processing of all merchandise in accordance with established procedure and deadlines
Drafts, explains, and implements instructions, policies, and procedures for purchasing and contract management.
• Identifies areas of opportunity to reduce waste and inefficiencies, takes action, and implements process improvement plans.
Requirements:
• Relevant working experience in furniture field is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Management, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Operations Manager in a furniture retail environment a MUST with at least 2 years experience
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Outstanding organisational skills
• Knowledge of furniture products and industry trends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Working hours include weekends and public holidays.
