· Manage the Client Onboarding team in Singapore, ensuring team are skilled on CDD and AML.
· Take responsibility for the staff’s Engagement Scans and build a trained and motivated team, whilst addressing any issues or concerns.
· Manage the productivity and quality of the team, via monthly MI and scores from various assurance teams.
· Conduct CDD cases, as and when required.
· Produce quality 4-eye checks on the team’s work and identifying areas for improvement when required
· Represent the Singapore FEC team in various Senior Management Meetings.
· Face off to various internal and external stakeholders, including the Frontline team, Compliance, Global teams and auditors etc…
· Ensure the onboarding, periodic review and trigger event of Corporate Clients in Asia, are all completed in a timely manner, with minimal overdues.
· Have oversight on the Transaction Monitoring and Name Screening alerts for Singapore, to ensure they are completed within the agreed timelines, with all alerts reviewed and mitigated appropriately with escalation to Compliance and local management, as required.
· Act as the local SME and participate in all Global FEC projects which affects Singapore.
· Part of the Asia FEC Triangle, to discuss all FEC and Compliance issues and agree action plans where appropriate
· Co-ordinate and check the quality of the files, which are required to be presented to the Asia Client Committee for Singapore.
· Manage the annual FATCA/CRS process for Singapore
· Manage the annual external audit on behalf of FEC for Singapore.
· Raise, manage and close all the Archer Findings specifically for Singapore.
· Compile monthly MI required for all the branch’s leadership team.
· Ensure all Global FEC updates are communicated to all relevant stakeholders including the frontline and arranging for any relevant training.
· Sign-off on all procedures and outsourcing documentation specific to Singapore.
· Manage the GAP analysis process for new standards and procedures.
· Support CFOO SG for MT data and submissions
· Ensure adequate oversight on outsourcing arrangements in HK and London
