Job Description:
· Lead procurement efforts for a wide range of food products.
· Identify and qualify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
· Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including production, quality assurance, and logistics teams, to meet production schedules and quality standards.
· Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging suppliers.
· Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, streamline processes, and mitigate risks.
· Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
Requirements:
· Proven related working experience in procurement role, preferably in the food product industry.
· Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
