Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Duties:
- Assist in food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and marinating ingredients.
- Ensure the kitchen area is clean and sanitized, including countertops, floors, and equipment.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring all items are properly sanitized and stored.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing food supplies and ingredients, ensuring proper storage to maintain freshness and quality.
- Dispose of kitchen waste responsibly and follow recycling protocols.
Floor Duties:
- Clean and sanitize dining tables, chairs, and floors before, during, and after service.
- Set up and arrange tables and chairs for service, ensuring the dining area is neat and welcoming.
- Assist in serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring timely and polite service.
- Refill condiment stations, napkins, and other table items as needed.
- Support in clearing and resetting tables between customers, ensuring quick turnover.
- Assist with any customer inquiries or requests in a courteous and professional manner.
General Responsibilities:
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
- Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed
- Report any kitchen or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
