About Us: Muslimin Trust Fund Association (MTFA) is a rapidly growing nonprofit organisation dedicated to serving the underprivilege community in Singapore. Established with the aim of providing financial assistance and support to Muslims in need, MTFA focuses on various areas such as education, healthcare, welfare, and social services. Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and welfare of residents.
- Ensure smooth operations of residential facility, equipment and training facilities remain in good condition, to report damages or breakdowns to the Estate Manager.
- Supervise onboarding, orientation, mentoring and outboarding of participants.
- Approve all purchases made for residents.
- Supervise referrals internal and external training partners for development programmes.
- Liaise with the MTFA Case Unit and manage external referrals from other agencies for placement.
- Lead case conferences with social service agencies and professionals.
- Develop and review standard operating procedures for Ihsan Living.
- Supervise the housekeeping of residential facilities.
- Prepare monthly reports to Ihsan Living Committee
- Coordinate and attend Ihsan Living Committee meetings.
- Collect data for funding & research purposes.
- Any other duties assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum Degree or Post Grad Diploma in Social Services/Social Work is preferred.
- Possess at least at least three years of experience working in a residential/hostel setting for young persons and young adults in a supervisory role.
- Possess supervisory experience in social service agencies
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with young persons and young adults
- Able to manage schedules and programs by internal and external training partners.
- High level of attention to details, hardworking and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Have an existing network of SSOs, VWOs and social service agencies.
- Have a firm and good understanding of the social service landscape.
- Able to work on weekends/Public Holidays (Off-in-lieu will be given accordingly).
