Primary Responsibilities
• Leading the deal from the financing/credit perspective, offering a significant opportunity to demonstrate deal leadership to senior management, including the CEO.
• Acting as a credible debt structuring partner, consultant, and advisor to coverage teams, private wealth management (PWM), and sales.
• Leading credit discussions on prospective opportunities within the screening committee forum.
• Responsible for deal structuring, negotiation, and developing bankable financing solutions for the firm, delivering credit approvals to clients.
• Taking primary responsibility for leading the internal credit application process from start to finish.
• Under the guidance of the credit manager or head of department, and with support from internal legal counsels and Lenders’ counsel, leading termsheet negotiations and structuring discussions with clients. Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, as well as company credit policy guidelines.
• Guiding and coaching junior team members to support their professional development.
• Performing other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by the Head of Department.
