My client is a global top-tier law firm, they are hiring an experienced Finance Manager to head the Tokyo Finance team based in Delhi. This role encompasses all finance operations for their Tokyo office, including month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, working capital support, treasury management, partner remuneration, and payroll.
You would collaborate closely with their external tax consultant on Japan tax filings and work with the Tokyo General Manager and partners on finance operations. As a senior member of the APAC finance team, you will also provide support and guidance to other APAC offices as needed and participate in global finance projects as the APAC representative.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance Management /relevant accounting qualification
- Minimum of 8- 10 years of experience, preferably within an international organization/ MNC environment with extensive inter-office collaboration.
- Fluency in English is essential, with excellent writing skills. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
- Prior experience and knowledge of Japan GAAP and taxes are highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and collaborating with offshored service teams.
