- Providing technical leadership, foresight and senior level ICT advice and information to meet needs and guide strategic and operational decision-making of Senior Management.
- Recommend IT strategies, policies and procedures through evaluation of organization outcomes, identify problems, evaluate trends and anticipating requirements.
- Initiate, design, develop, coordinate and implement ICT strategy, operational plans, systems, tools, policies and procedures across all levels of the organization, when required.
- Establish and enforce ICT service standards and maintain quality service. Ensure the efficient, secure and effective operation and performance of ICT infrastructure and equipment.
- Preserve assets, data & cyber security and control structures and conduct regular system, network and data audits to identify improvements.
- Ensure that an adequate plan for maintenance, disaster recovery and business continuity is maintained and effectively implemented.
- Ensure site documentation is maintained and updated.
- Manage ICT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and monitoring and appraising their performance.
- Manage and report on allocation of ICT budget, forecast financial requirements, prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyses variances and initiate corrective action.
- Handle any other duties /responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
