Job Summary:

The Curriculum Development Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accuracy and consistency in all course materials that align with institutional goals and standards. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders including subject matter experts to create engaging and effective instructional materials that promote an excellent learning experience for all learners.


The Curriculum Development Coordinator ensures the quality and relevance of educational programs by vetting course materials, conducting market surveys, and drafting proposals with partners. They collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and feedback on curriculum development.Curriculum Development Coordinator designs assessment tools, analyzes data to improve curricula, and monitors student performance. Resource management duties include updating records, recommending educational resources, managing procurement and distribution of materials, and maintaining inventory. Additionally, the Coordinator performs various ad-hoc duties to enhance the institution's educational offerings.


Responsibilities:


Curriculum Design and Development:

  • Vet course materials for accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct market survey for course trends and demand sensing.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Draft proposals and contracts with collaboration partners.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to gather input and feedback on curriculum development.

Resource Management:

  • Update records and course information on various platforms and with various stakeholders.
  • Identify and recommend educational resources, including textbooks, software, and online materials.
  • Assist with presentation slides and/or other courseware.
  • Manage the procurement and distribution of curriculum materials.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of curriculum resources and materials.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate possesses the following attributes:


•At least a Diploma certification.
•Positive learning attitude.
•Meticulous, creative and innovative.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong organizational and analytical skills.
•Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Canva.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•Prior experience with a TMS/LMS would be great.
