What you'll do:
As a Business Analyst (Calypso) [Contract], you will hold a crucial role in developing on the Calypso back office package, both in project mode and maintenance. You will also support the 'run the bank' function, necessitating a profound understanding of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems. Your role will involve continuous collaboration with business users, infrastructure engineers, and system managers.
- Analyse enhancement requests for the repo business and new products.
- Propose solutions in cooperation with Architects.
- Coordinate user acceptance tests and support monthly releases.
- Manage incidents and requests from business users and other IT teams.
- Provide level 3 application support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues/bugs.
- Enhance operational processes and mentor junior team members as required.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Business Analyst (Calypso) [Contract] role will bring proven experience working with Calypso back office. You should possess a deep understanding of financial assets and trade lifecycle. Your ability to interface Calypso with external systems will be pivotal to your success in this role. Additionally, your analytical and problem-solving skills combined with your proactive approach towards security will distinguish you. - Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Calypso business analyst on Calypso back office.
- Experience on Calypso versions v14 to v17.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Static Data, Workflows, ScheduledTask, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages / Swift messages, Positions, Accounting, Corporate action, Filters, Reporting Framework, Reconciliation features.
- Understanding of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and trade lifecycle.
- Experience with regulatory reporting HRF, NORIA, MMSR.
- Practical experience in implementation projects with an AGILE track record.
