Profile Description:
The Integration Piping Supervisor has developed advanced and specialized expertise within an Fabrication and Installation area to perform the complex piping construction work and is knowledgeable of other disciplines. They can identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness.
Job Responsibility: ·
- Supervise and approve construction activities and co-ordinate various aspects of the project construction including inspections, material submissions and working drawings from contractors, and processing documentation as required.
- Regularly participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks and daily jobsite walks and keep a record of findings.
- Promote on job safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately.
- Organize, coordinate and supervise construction activities in accordance with construction schedules, monitor and review so as to complete the works on time and within budget
- Provide solutions to subcontractor’s problems in order to achieve the successful execution of the project
- Prepare reports and forecasts relating to fabrication progress, job manpower forecasts etc.
- Handle all aspects of Mechanical Construction activities including site investigations and site surveys.
- Report to client management on main issues, events at the site, progress reporting, trends and recommendation for improvement
- Must well versed with Pipe line Tracing, Pipe testing, Pipe fabrication, Pipe Installation and Commissioning.
- Conduct Pipe Testing for all the system like Sea water, Bilge, Air compressor, Boiler feed water, Steam, Lube oil Fuel Oil system in Engine room and top modules.
- Coordinate with client and construction personnel to ensure the client's input and job requirements are adequately addressed and implemented consistently with the contractual requirements
- Required to ensure adherence to international standards, schedule and fabrication sequence
Qualifications:
- 15 to 20 years of experience in Piping fabrication and erection superviosor role within the EPCI industry, including significant experience.
- Proven track record of supervising piping erection and testing team on FPSO/Offshore projects.
- Ability to interpret P&ID, Iso drawings and Client specifications accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make clear and timely decisions.
- Effective leadership and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in Mechanical Completion Software used in FPSO/Offshore Projects to record the Piping work status.
- Have CSWIP Welding Inspection Certificate (RT / MPI / UT and PT inspections)
- Strong user knowledge in 3D model software to review the Piping design.
