Company manages a Single family fund. The main objective of the Company to nurture passion for start-ups as well as to capitalize on the growth of the respective start-ups. Company Invest in technology-first business across Fintech, B2B and B2C domains targeting domestic and Indian SaaS start-ups targeting global market.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations
· Quarterly and annual reporting responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation of regulatory and statutory submissions and financial surveys for MAS and other regulators and government bodies.
- Review of Statutory Financial Statements and assistance with the statutory audit process including liaising with external auditors
Manage Treasury
· Ensure application of all agreed accounting and financial policies of the Portfolio Co.’s.
· Trade Settlement
· Analyse the performance of the Portfolio Companies on a monthly basis.
· Management Reporting to internal stakeholders
· Contribute to the maintenance of the control framework to ensure it is operating appropriately, identify areas for improvement and implement changes to policy
Others
· Continually review existing processes to streamline where appropriate to improve efficiency and effectiveness to allow additional analysis to be performed
· Assist in any ad hoc tasks as delegated by the Finance Director including information requests
- Active contribution to projects and initiatives from time to time
Required Capabilities
Experience
· Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the financial services or tech industry
· Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build solid relationships with a good customer focus.
· Strong ability to adapt to and utilise various financial and analytics systems, including strong Excel skills.
· Relevant experience working in or with Financial Services organisations with matrix reporting structure (Investment Management beneficial)
Technical Competencies / Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting
· Skilled in major Financial System and financial planning and forecast reporting system
· Skilled in MS-Office.
· Pro-active and strong initiatives.
· Team player, with ability to work independently to deliver timely and accurate outputs
· Good understanding of best practice financial processes and controls
· Good interpersonal skills
