Job Description: Controller, SNP JAPAC
Location: Singapore
Overview: SNP Transformation Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Controller to join our team in Singapore. This pivotal role will support the CFO and sales operations, overseeing our Market Units in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, China (Shanghai & Qingdao) and Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive financial support to the CFO and sales operations teams.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Support project finance and manage budgets for various SAP projects.
- Oversee sales operations support, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and drive financial performance.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Mentor and develop finance team members to build a high-performing finance organization.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience running a shared service centre.
- Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) within an SAP project environment.
- Proven experience in project finance and sales operations support.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in and additional language such as Chinese or Japanese is an added advantage.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, particularly SAP.
