Job description
• Performed daily Site Inspection together with all the sub-con involved in structural works ensuring works are safe and well carried out prior to inspect by Resident Engineer/Resident Technical Officer (RE/RTO)
• Closely monitored structural rebar and formworks prior to proceed casting
• Always checked and review structural designs ensuring site works are in accordance with the approved drawings
• Manage and closely work with sub-con to ensure the quality of works and to avoid work delays.
• Conducts Inspection with RTOs/RE for the Structural aspects of the project and ensuring the site quality and workmanship are satisfactory and acceptable prior to cast and closing of formworks
• In-charged for rebar and concreting works of the project, and lead the supervisors/foreman to ensure works carried out accordingly
• Update and assist Construction Manager for the monthly and weekly report progress of the project.
• Closely work and report to Construction Managers related to structural works progress of the project.
Job Requirements:
• Degree in Civil or relevant Engineering
• Minimum (3-5) years of relevant experience in quality assurance and Quality control of railways projects of similar scale and complexity.
• QA/QC experience in the construction industry (Preferably with Singapore LTA project experience)
• Good written and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Comfortable to work on Saturdays
