Planner (Production)

Job duties:

1. To develop and formulate project tasks and schedule in consultation with Project Owners to achieve company goals.
2. Plan and develop production schedules to meet project delivery dates.
3. To track and submit actual man-hours against planned hours, and compute resource utilization for submission to Management.
4. To conduct weekly project meeting to update and highlight project status and issues with Project Owners and identify and implement risk mitigation measures.
5. To assist in resource allocation and work assignment in planning to increase system and operations efficiency and reduce operational costs.
6. Track, count and expedite all work in process to ensure production and shipping schedules are me.
7. Support in Bill-of-Material (BoM).
8. Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

Requirement:

1. Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years of work experience in manufacturing and operations.
3. Experience in schedule planning and logistics management or have a broad industry knowledge is preferred.
4. Project Management and Budget Management experience be advantageous.
5. Basic knowledge of the engineering methodology such as LEAN, 5S and Six Sigma.
6. Basic knowledge project management, process validation strategy and quality tools.
7. Ability to manage project and complete it on time.
8. Good interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
