My client is an established US MNC, looking to hire a proactive and results-oriented Accounting professional with strong GL/ Full Set Accounting experience to focus on GL management in a shared service environment. Prior Audit background is a plus.
The successful candidate should possess strong GL or Full Set Accounting experience, and it can be helpful to have worked in a shared services set up.
Requirements
- GL or Full Set Accounting experience, helpful to have worked in shared services set up
- Prior external audit background is a plus
- Ideally to have managed a regional portfolio (with multi-currencies) in a high-volume transactions environment
- Team management experience or demonstrates maturity and ability to lead a small team
- English and Chinese language proficiency as this position may liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts
- Traits: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, detailed, proactive, positive attitude, team player
Job Scope
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, GL account reconciliations, supporting annual budget process, and ensuring all financial transactions are correctly documented. Your role will involve verifying ledger entries and reconciling subsidiary ledgers with the general ledger. You will be tasked with preparing balance sheet, P&L statements, analysis of financial performance to forecast future financial outcomes. The role also encompasses assisting various accounting aspects such as ledger maintenance, revenue accounting, asset accounting, and related analysis and reporting activities.
You will have the opportunities to support in global system and process initiatives and in driving implementation of accounting and controls procedures.
