Objective:
Responsible for providing administrative support to paralegals / lawyers
Main Tasks:
Legal Support
Day to day file management, monitor files and deadlines
Management of work schedule and timelines of IP matters -
Trademarks, Designs, Patents, Disputes, Copyrights and Domain Names
Prepare/file official forms and templates in relation to recordals, searches,
applications, examination reports, acceptances, declarations, oppositions, etc.
Draft simple responses and submissions
Conduct relevant searches such as prefilling checks, acceptances/co-
existence of marks in other countries, etc.
Prepare cost estimates
Manage and maintain a variety of office systems and databases, such as emails/documents filing system (iManage), client/matter creations (Intapp Open), client/matter billing system (Intapp Time), records docketing database (GIPM), accounts portal (PBS), etc.
Prerequisites:
Diploma in Law and/or equivalent
Basic knowledge of IPOS and procedures would be an advantage
At least 2 years of relevant experience
Possesses professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal
skills.
