Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated professional with technical background who is excellent at value selling and communicating highly complex technical services to our target customers. Our Technical Services Sales Manager is expected to meet the following expectations:
1. Be the link between the customers and Veolia, involved in all aspects of customer management and customer service.
- EHS is the core of our activities in Toxic Industrial Waste treatment. Candidate will coordinate all aspects of our activities at the customer site and is personally responsible for ensuring we provide quality service safely to our customers
- Be the lead in advising customers on commercial and technical aspect of Toxic Industrial Waste treatment process ensuring the customer understands the dangers and the importance of safety from the start of the profiling process prior to the waste collection
- Ensure update/ collation/ maintenance of information/ enquiries/ Tenders specifications of customer in Salesforce, coordinate and profile waste/ SDS etc. to ensure proper records are kept for reference
- Coordinate internally within Veolia to finalise solutions (cost, treatment routes and for special waste that requires special handling) for the customer’s most difficult waste problems
- Prepare quotation/ proposals to customers showcasing Veolia’s capabilities in Toxic Industrial Waste treatment in Singapore
- Be customer’s point of contact for all matters (commercial and technical) with support from the technical team if necessary
2. Lead, establish, develop, engage and improve relationships with existing and prospective customers through building long term, sustainable relationships with open and interactive communication.
- Reach out to assigned customers (both existing and new) to bring in new volumes and revenues for the company
3. Lead, gather and consolidate market/ technical information on the toxic industrial waste market in Singapore
- Market research of new opportunities, new plants, new potential customer, technology used
- Obtain information on key market for Veolia and the competition e.g. technology used

Job Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering with at least 3 years of business development / sales & marketing experience in technical consultancy / services.
- Experience in consultancy/ chemical / oil and gas industries is a plus.
- Knowledge in environmental services / waste management is an added advantage.
- Proven track record of generating new business and rapid revenue growth.
- Excellent value selling and negotiation skills.
- Energetic, keen eye for details, driven, adaptable.
